What can I say simply the best hot dog and crispy fries! Never had a problem with my order! Hot dog is succulent when you bite into it but most importantly the fries are always crispy on the outside soft on the inside!

I had surprisingly never heard of this place, but it is such a gem. The service is fast and very friendly, and honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything in the menu. This is just good quality food and good quality service at its best. I think this would be a great spot to grab some lunch, but I hear the breakfast is awesome as well. I will definitely be coming back here because I want to try more of the items on the menu since mine was so good.
This place is located in a pretty inconspicuous place in an industrial park. It seems they cater to the warehouses and factory employees. Sometimes those places can be hot and miss. However, this one is a HIT! I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich with hot peppers and provolone. The sandwich was perfectly seasoned and portioned. While a bit on the messy side (they know that hence the fork), it was an amazing sandwich! The peppers were a little more mild than I would have liked but added great flavor. Paired with some cheese fries, this was the perfect combination. The prices are pretty reasonable for being the only restaurant around. The staff is brisk but friendly and efficient. Very clean establishment serving great sandwiches at reasonable prices! Definitely worth a visit!
One Yelper's review really sold me on this place, and it did not disappoint. I needed a quick breakfast one Saturday morning and ordered Mexican burritos for both my husband and I. First of all, it was HUGE. And second, it was full of chorizo and gooey cheese. It was absolutely delicious! I cut it in half and so I had breakfast for Sunday. So, it's definitely cost effective. My husband is usually hard to win over, and he devoured the whole thing and said it was REALLY good. It looks like we found a new breakfast DoorDash place! The only thing that bothered me was that I accidentally placed the DoorDash order from the app, and forgot to click back to "delivery" after clicking "pickup" and they wouldn't let me cancel my order. I'm not sure why. I mean, I was going to immediately place my order again, but for delivery this time. Oh well, it's my bad, so I can't complain! We will be back to try the dogs!
Lu and Ton's is the quintessential Chicago hot dog spot, the perfect example of a hole-in-the-wall that serves delicious food by a friendly staff. I popped in while in the area and was not disappointed. The two dog lunch special was everything I hoped it would be: perfectly made dogs (although I think they were missing celery salt, perhaps...), a generous amount of fries, and a drink to wash it down. All for a great price, too! Sure, the decor isn't anything to write home about but the staff was polite and friendly. I even noticed that they had a guy, who had to be a regular, in and out in a minute because they already had his order ready to go for him. Love it! You really can't beat this place, to be honest. Good food, nice staff, reasonable price. What more could you ask for?!
I know I've had them book marked for over 5yrs unfortunately! In the area and I decided to stop. The service was great from both parties that were behind the counter. I ordered a deep fried polish & a ribeye steak sandwich which were prepared quickly. Quality of the meats were good as well. So I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area.
